Devolutions Listed by Gartner in Privileged Access Management Market Guide

Enterprise software firm Devolutions, whose flagship remote connection and password management solution Remote Desktop Manager is used by over 300,000 IT pros worldwide, today announced that it has been listed in the Other PAM Solutions category in Gartner's 2017 Market Guide for Privileged Access Management (PAM).

PAM technologies enable organizations to establish secure access to critical assets, as well as monitor, record and audit privileged accounts to ensure compliance. Gartner estimates that the global PAM marketplace grew to $900 million in 2016, which represents about a 30 percent increase over 2015. Further rapid growth is expected over the next two to three years.

Devolutions joins a small list of select vendors, which includes Microsoft and Red Hat, that have been identified as effectively delivering an alternative way to mitigate the risks around privileged access, or provide a set of specific and deep capabilities to augment existing PAM deployment. As noted in the guide by Gartner analysts: “Devolutions offers Devolutions Server, Password Vault Manager and Remote Desktop Manager.
